Before coming to the USA from England in 1993, I was a registered Nurse for many years. The natures of both my careers are similar in that they require the ability to think fast, be flexible and enjoy the company of new people. Like nursing, real estate uses the same basic processes time and again. However, with each set of personalities and homes involved come differing challenges and rewards. I love the variety and the enjoyment of meeting and helping someone new.

I have been a full-time real estate professional for 15 years so have seen pretty much anything that a fluctuating market can offer. I have also seen the requirements to be a successful Realtor change dramatically. It can be a challenge to keep pace with the ever changing technology whilst never losing sight of the fundamentals. It's all about the people, not the tools. Most changes have been for the better as they enable me to work with clients more efficiently whilst allowing them to be better informed about the available homes and the buying or selling process.
